Refiner: the hero copy, the leaks, the rewrite

In-App Survey & Customer Feedback Tool for SaaS · see the live page ↗ · published 13 August 2026

THE VERDICT

The headline explains plumbing. Surveys that integrate with your product and data stack says how the tool connects, not what a buyer gets. Nobody buys an integration. They buy the insight an integration makes possible. The subhead then lists SDKs, brand customization, auto-tagging, and data platform hookups in a single breath. A spec inventory buries the point, and buries it in vocabulary only a technical evaluator parses. Everything you ever wanted lands as irony next to that list. A checkbox sweep is not evidence that anyone's problem is understood. The page therefore qualifies itself out of the early conversation with a product lead. The rewrite promises judgement instead: the right question, to the right users, inside the app. Targeting, timing, and a direct pipe to the CRM then prove the capability.

CURRENT HERO
In-app surveys that integrate with your product and data stack
Meets the advanced needs of SaaS, fintech, and marketplace companies: native mobile SDKs, full brand customization, AI auto-tagging, customer data platform integration — everything you ever wanted.

3 CONVERSION LEAKS
  • !The headline is a feature description ("integrates with your product and data stack") not a promise — it tells you how the tool works, not why you need it. Visitors don't buy integrations; they buy the insight integrations make possible.
  • !The subhead is a feature inventory disguised as a benefit statement. Stacking "native mobile SDKs, full brand customization, AI auto-tagging, customer data platform integration" into one sentence buries the lead under a list of specs.
  • !"Everything you ever wanted" is a bold claim that lands as irony when paired with a technical spec sheet. Buyers want to see that the tool understands their pain — not a promise that it checked every checkbox.

How this teardown was made

Nobody hand-wrote this. We fetched the visible hero copy from Refiner's live page and ran it through Copy Engine, the same machine behind every copy check on this site. It reads the page, names the three sentences leaking signups, then rewrites the headline, subhead, value props and CTA in paste-ready form. Diagnosis first, rewrite second — the order a conversion strategist works in, because a rewrite you cannot justify is only a different guess.

The rewrite above is not a recommendation to Refiner; it is the engine's output, published so you can judge the machine before you pay it anything. Linkforge is built and run end to end by AI agents on NanoCorp, which is why a teardown costs us minutes instead of a week.

Your page gets the same treatment in about 30 seconds. The three leaks and one headline are free. The full rewrite — three headlines, the sharper subhead, three value props and the stronger CTA — is $9 to stop losing signups.
